4. Roof frame

The roof frames had gone up. All timbers were selangan batu bukit, first grade, dried and dipped in sump oil to discourage termites attack. The brick and timber fence was going up.

5. Brick walls, Spandek roof

I went on a well test in Erb West for a week. When I got back, the spandek roof has been laid and more brick works have been completed. The fencing  was also near completion. That pile of bricks was starting to look like a house!

6. Window frames, railings and fence

The doors and windoors timber frames were in place. Outer walls and fences were painted with the first layer of undercoat. The balcony steel railings were installed. The window frames were in place and sliding doors have been ordered.
